Her sincerity and charity are easy to exploit, swindle, or take for granted. But while undeniably gullible, Lores may not be as dense as some may think. Even if she knows she's being taken advantage of, she'll oft still try and help someone. She'll continue to smile, letting them believe her dumb and oblivious as they rob or cheat her. ✘ CHATTY - Lores can be too much for a lot of people. Her cheeriness is oft overwhelming and off-putting. She will talk your ear off and will get in your space. ✘ SHELTERED - Lores was raised by a well-known and well-respected family in the community. They made it a point that she was seen and accepted by all as a part of their family. Thus, Lores has — for the most part — been treated well by the Kirkwall community. The people who know her. But occasionally there will be someone who doesn't like her just because of what she is. A stranger who places their entire judgment of her upon the blueish tint of her skin and her horned skull. Especially with the current state of Kirkwall and the Qunari camping in their compound, Lores can sometimes find herself a scorned target; a punching bag to those malcontented by the "invaders". And while the young qunari can oft be bold for others, she is somewhat cowardly when it comes to defending (or even defining) herself. She has little knowledge of her race/parentage and it can often break her down to be defending herself as something "alien" and "foreign" in the very town where she was born and raised. It's overwhelming and disenchanting when she has to acknowledge how her Ahktar name has been such a blessed shield, sheltering her from the ugliness of prejudice and hatred. And also to face other qunari, with whom she shares so much (but also nothing) with. [break][break]

✘ SENSITIVE - Lores can be an emotional wreck at times. She has a lot of feelings and isn't afraid to make them known. She's an open book when it comes to what's affecting her... and a lot affects her. Her environment, a snippet of conversation she heard this morning, the weather, the fit of her pants... everything seems to have some sort of influence on her. And whatever she feels, she feels it 100% and lets the feeling consume her and affect everything around her. She can get incredibly sad (for herself and for others) and suffers from reoccurring funks of gloomy grump. Fortunately, she is able to be pulled out of these funks quite easily, by some other influence, and thus has a sort of unstable, 'hot and cold', flip-floppy reputation.
