A first-stop for any prospective new members. Also a frequent stop for any existing members who may have questions about our site mechanics. In addition to site rules, this board contains helpful information about Kirkwall's setting, history, and characters.

Site events and important Kirkwall-happenings will be posted here. Spotlight results, important position searches, in-character events, and whatever else may arise. Keep an eye out for any new topics! Most events will also be pinned in other places, but it is always a good idea to check this board every now and again.

This is where every character starts their journey. Found in this board is the Application Template, Face Claim List, Canon List, and Site Census. When posting your character please format the thread title 'LAST NAME, First Name'. If you're not finished with the app, add [WIP] to the end. Once finished/posted, a staff member will review your app and either accept it or let you know if something needs attention.

The board where members can put their heads together and plot their characters with others and maybe ruin their lives but in a fun way who knows. Post your shippers and see if anyone can cook up some happenings between your children and theirs. Fall in love. Break hearts. Stab someone? This is also where you can post trackers, Wanted Ads, communication templates, and whatever else.

This board is where you'll find the Open Thread List and a compiled list of Open Thread Ideas. Located in this board too, are available Quests! These are a list of assignments/missions available to your character. Completing Quests is entirely optional, but doing so can net you some Renown. This is where you'll also find the Black Emporium, where you can spend your Renown.

Here you can talk about whatever you'd like with other members. Make an official introduction so we can learn a bit about you. Announce your leave. You can post OOC games or discussions. Show us your art or poetry. Open up a graphics shop? What is everyone watching on Netflix? We could always talk about how much we like Dragon Age or what everyone's favorite desserts are. Anything goes.

This is where you'll find our Affiliation thread and where you can post your own site's advertisement. Please use the proper sub-board when advertising. If we've already posted our ad on your site, then post yours in 'Link Back'. If we haven't posted on your site, then post in 'First Link'. Guest friendly.
